| Is anyone seeing less JB's this year or is it just me? I have to say I have seen very few JB's this year...maybe 7. In fact I have had more issues with my blooms looking like wet blobs of toilet paper than I have with bugs this year. I do have a possible theory. I had read that sparrows will eat JB's so I put up bird houses in all the gardens, some gardens have two because of their size. The houses have been busy all spring and summer with sparrows and their offspring.....hence the possible reason for so few JB's.

| Last year's drought and this spring's drought could also have entombed the larvae if you've got heavy clay soil. |

| Tammy, here in my new town (just moved) the beetles have been horrible, worst then I've ever seen. I've been dealing with them for over a month now and am starting to see less finally. |
