| This is where I spent the 30 years before I retired to Florida.The scenery there is awesome.Surrounded by mountain's and in a valley the N.A.called the valley of flowers.July the only month I didn't see snow. |

| Yikes! I was northern bred, but snow in summer is too much! Course, I was in the flatlands. I know what you mean about mountains, however. Never spent time around them until about 5 years ago when I was in the New Mexico/Colorado area for 6 weeks. Mountains certainly are awesome--it is like you are lifted up into a completely different world, very ancient and enduring and majestic--none of the clutter and pettiness and busyness of everyday life in the lowlands. I loved the experience. Have to admit--one of my favorite movies is "Jeremiah Johnson," mountain man. Kate |
