This looks like a vicious storm----

It is worrisome to watch TV------

thinking of everyone living in the path of this storm.

RE: I hope all our friends are out of harm's way---

I went with my son to enroll at Tulane U. in NOLA on the 22nd,and he came home on Friday when they evacuated the campus and closed the college. We had gotten him a credit card esp. so he could charge a plane fare in just such an emergency. According to the college, they will open again on the 8th, so he has a week at home. He came home with a horrible cold, so I am babying him and hope to get him will before he goes back. As of today, it looks like NOLA is going to be ok. I fell in love with the city when we went to visit in April and again when we went to move him in. I'm so glad that Gustav lightened up to Cat. 2 before it hit, and that it missed NOLA.
