| I googled her and she sounds wonderful :) I'm so sorry she had to go. The flowers part was priceless. She and my mother would get along famously [and perhaps they are somewhere]. I'm so very sorry for the loss. Nothing hurts so badly. Prayers for peace for her loved ones. |

| Thank you Meredith, I didn't think to add links- She was amazing, lived and died her way, after a very long struggle with breast cancer. Dignity and humor to the end and she made sure absolutely everything was in order leaving nothing for anyone to trouble with. She decided who to give each item to and did so while she could enjoy the giving. Funerals and "parties" are for the living to help bring closure. They are important to those you love. My FIL had a huge party about 6 months after he passed. As he was a national gay rights spokesman, I kept my children home and did not let them celebrate his life. I was stupider then and did not understand. My own father donated his body to science and that was it. Bummer! |
