Fires in Greece

This is heartbreaking - I can barely watch it on TV. I have always felt that any tragic death is shocking, but my worst nightmare would be to be killed by fire.

My heart and tears go out to Greece and all the poor people and animals who have been caught up in this.

I've been watching too, and checking CNN online each morning hoping things have improved.

My brother was due to be there with his family this month...for once I'm thanking God their household is so frantic and unorganized because they didn't book their reservations in time...their plans for their trip were changed to the E side of Spain and that's where they really are now instead.

I hope Gus is just caught in a communication difficulty and you find he's safe very soon!

So sad, Pauline thanks for the post :(

We are a Greek town here, with so many families who visit home yearly at least. Great friends and my heart goes out to every one hurt by this :(
