| A box arrived from John Scheepers via UPS yesterday. The box weighed thirty pounds. The UPS man was amused. contents are as follows:
Ipheon 'Wisley Blue' 50
The small white narcissus will be mixed to give a longer bloom time and interplanted with the grape hyacinths to line one side of the driveway. The lillies and ipheon are going into the rose bed by the front door. The assorted large daffodils are going into an area with ground cover under a maple tree in the front yard. There is another area with ground cover where I would like to plant daffs but that will wait 'till next fall. Now I'm praying for rain to soften the soil. The first fall after we moved to NC, I gave myself tendonitis planting bulbs and that soil was sandy. Planting daffs six inches down into Virginia clay will be impossible until the fall rains come. Its sprinkling a bit this morning, my fingers are crossed. |

| Love Thalia and the Ipheon mnnnnnnnn but the bulbs did terribly last year due to the strange winter. Only putting in my favorite Estellas again only half them came up last year. Lot of species tulips bit the dust. |
