Some Lake Tahoe Photos for a dreary afternoon.

I was going to take Jorge to San Francisco the other day and he said, "can't we just head north." So, we did. Later we called his mom and said we wouldn't be back and just checked into a little hotel by the lake and spent the night. We wandered and drove around aimlessly, drank hot chocolate, and watched the new Bond movie (the 10:00p.m. showing) at a little, old-time, one screen theatre in Tahoe City.

Fortunately, we didn't need any snow chains but I think that's changing this afternoon as it's snowing again up there. My knowledge of snow chains is this: I know they exist, that's it.

MAT, lord have mercy you take some gorgeous photos. Nice looking boy you have there. Your little trip sounds so neat and heart warming. You had better quit posting these pics or you might find me on your door step.

I can't get to the pics but it sounds wonderful and relaxing!

Now, you are listed in NoCal instead of possumland or Nawlins?! How cool! When? Congratulations... unless I'm being a ditz like I'm prone to.

We don't do chains, either, unless we get a big snow that'll last a week, but then nobody trusts me to drive anyway, lol.

I can't get to them either this morning. It just displays a mess in Firefox. I moved at the end of August.

Congratulations!! It sounds like a gorgeous area with lovely weather. I bet you won't you miss hot water coming out of the garden hose, lol.

MMmmmmm. Wish I could see the pictures!! We're already planning our Tahoe ski holiday. Last time we got caught in a mega-blizzard and were forced to spend some time in a casino instead.....:))
