In Loving Memory

It is with heavy heart that I share with those of you who have known us for years the passing of our beloved lab, Bill on Christmas morning. He suffered a stroke and we had to make the difficult decision to put our dear friend to rest.
I posted a few pictures from happier and healthier days on the Gallery should anyone want to see them.

Thanks,
Linda K

Linda, I am so sorry! I loved pictures of the Boyz! and it sure won't be the same, without Bill...hope he gets to eat a lot of cake at the Rainbow Bridge, and that he has a pool to swim in...Bless you for sending him on, to rest..it is never an easy decision to make. Be good to yourselves and take care.

I am so very sorry. We made a similar decision a couple of months ago, and it is a heart breaker.

Linda that is very sad news, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that Bill was a much loved dog, who gave as much of himself to you and yours as you gave to him. I always loved the pictures you posted of him swimming.

OH MY GOD LINDA!

I am so sorry...Bill was just so special, I loved seeing the pictures you would post of him. But he was such a happy go lucky dog...such a big old love. I am just so sorry for you and the rest of the family right now.

Linda, this is so very sad to hear - and hard to bear for you and your family, I know. Bill was a very special dog but always remember that he had the best life a lab could ask for: much love, good food, his doggy chums, a pool to swim in every day - and fame as well! We'll miss his happy face around here.
Hugs,
Anne

Thank you all so very much for your heartfelt sympathy; it's appreciated very much.

Jack is doing well. He and Jazzper, our Katrina rescue mix became best friends the minute they saw each other and have remained connected at the hip.

Again, I am overwhelmed by your kindness and will treasure it always.

With love,
Linda K

Linda,
I'm really sorry for your loss. I know how difficult it is to lose a beloved pet. I remember your pictures of Bill and understand how much you loved him. It is a very difficult time for you, but he had a happy life, was loved by you and your family.

:( I'm so sorry for your loss. I, too, remember seeing many beautiful pictures of your beloved Bill.

Take one day at a time, and each time you feel like crying - cry. Hug Jack and Jazzper, they will feel your pain and slowly help you heal your broken heart.

Hugs from Jersey
Wendy

Belatedly clicked on this post - so sorry for your loss of Bill. Those pictures of the Boyz made my day every time.

Losing a pet is an experience I've shared with you three times in the last 12 months. I know how hard it is.

Bill was a doll. I'm very sorry for your loss. Teddy-Bear is 15 now and he's day to day. I know how you feel.

Aw. I hate that. The Boyz have been huge favorites of mine and Bill was a splendid fellow.

RE: In Loving Memory

You are all wonderful and I thank you for your kindness.
I promise that the next generation of Boyz will be around come Spring; Bill would want it that way.
With love,
Linda, Jack and Jazzper

PS: Hoov, Bill was a "DNR" and in "hospice" for the last year of his life. I'm so glad I hugged and kissed him everyday in spite of the fact that it startled him because he couldn't see or hear very well. I know that Teddy-Bear thrives on the daily loving you give him. And it's what you remember when the time comes.

I'm so sad to read this. I've loved silly sweet Bill for years... I'm still promising my Istvan a pool since your pics. Bill is in excellent company with great loved ones also crossed. I'm so glad Jack has Jazzper and I'd love to see their antics continue.

My heart goes out to you.

Bill deserves a special place in the land over the Rainbow Bridge.

Hang in there honey.

RE: In Loving Memory

I just returned from a business trip and found your kind messages. They really mean so much.
We just received what I believe is a message from Bill from the Bridge.
Bill always went nuts when he would see dogs on TV or when you would flip a picture on the Lab calendar; he thought those dogs were really in the room and he needed to show them who was boss! The other two guys have never done that.
This morning when my husband flipped to a pic of a chocolate lab on the calendar, Jack went nuts! And we just turned the TV to a dog show and he REALLY went nuts! We believe that "talent" was passed on from Bill from the Bridge and the day just got brighter!
Thank you so much!
With love,
Linda
