Kermit the Frog Party Hats

My daughter has decided that Nason will celebrate his first birthday party with Kermit. I think because her brother did and she loves the pictures of them in the Kermit the Frog hats with green legs dangling over their baby faces.

Unfortunately, Kermit is "not" right now. I've located some party supplies on eBay, so we are in good shape for plates and napkins and the like. The hats, however, elude me. I kept one for years, but it is lost to all time. Even if I could only find one, I could make a reasonable copy for the party.

So, if in your daily life you happen to run across any kind of Kermit the Frog party hats, please, please, please contact me.

Now if she had chosen Elmo, it would be no problem. Apparently green is not in right now.

Jody, I think you're right, Kermit is not "in". I decorated my granddaughter's room in frogs year before last and have a site still bookmarked and it has a nice head shot of Kermit. What you might end up having to do is make your own hat. Copy the photo onto your computer and blow it up to the size you need and cut it out and attach elastic onto it. But there is an idea for you if you can't find a Kermit hat go looking for Kermit pictures until you find a nice one you like that you can make into a hat yourself with nice sturdy stock paper that won't tear easy. Just an idea for you. Leslie

Remember, the first Kermit was felt, cardboard, and a couple of pingpong balls! It was easy being green.
