Good Job, RF moderator is on the ball

I noticed how quickly the last couple of instances of spam were removed from the site.
They seem to be responding quickly after one of us reports it.
Wonder when these spam idiots are gonna get the message?

For the longest time the European Rose Forum was filled with nothing but spam. Soon after emailing the moderator, the forum was cleaned up and has been maintained as such ... sure, new spam appears, though it gets removed.

Thanks GW for the GREAT site!

Terry

Yes it is nice to have a sanctuary away from that.

Unfortunately no, as most of the time, those are just coded programs to surf the net and spam in random forums. They are exactly like weeds - they never go away, you have to keep weeding them out and if you stop for a moment, your whole garden (forum) is filled with them again.

The only benefit of using the ancient forum structure is that not that many write spam bots for this kind of forums anymore, so it is not that bad even in mod slack days.
