Roses Arriving!

This is pretty much my first foray into hybrid tea roses, have many OGRs, but way too many pinks. So, my order for this year are the following reds: Oklahoma, Firefighter and Francis Debreuil. These will all go on the east flowerbed next to the house (afternoon shade), will be interested to see how they all get along together. If a problem, will just move some.

For my flowerbed off my patio I got Heirloom and Stephens Big Purple.

Have no idea how this will all turn out, either it will be great, or one big mess, but am looking forward to "sort" of stepping out of my little comfort zone to see what happens!

Don't worry, you'll have a ball! The worst that can happen is you make gifts of them to someone you like and go back to the comfort zone. I bet that won't be it, though. You'll see! Enjoy! Kim

Have a blast!. Of the ones you mention I've had Heirloom and Oklahoma for over a year, and bought Firefighter this year due to recommendations from this forum. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Heirloom. I wish Oklahoma had more blooms, but I love the blooms I get. And I have very high hopes for Firefighter. You're clearly going for great fragrance and color - hope your foray into HTs is a success. They are the perfect roses in my climate.
