Petrichor7 - there are so many pink roses, we need a few more clues:

Pls post a picture of the entire bush.
Pls post a picture of just one or two leaves, showing the back & the front.
Pls post a picture of any hips you can find.
Pls post a picture showing the prickles (thorns)

Also, does it re-bloom all Summer & Fall, or does it only bloom in the Spring?

I think you are right about it being queen elizabeth. It blooms summer and fall and has nice hips and it was a tall bush. It also would have been well known. I am astonished you could identify it from one picture. I am so glad I asked the experts! Thank you!

Good call, Beth, that's what I was thinking. The shape is classic QE as is the bud shape. The color isn't too far different than what it traditionally looks like here. Kim
