Are you referring to the bronzy/reddish leaves in the center of the photo, or the three leaves, one to the left of the bronzy/reddish cluster of leaves, and two the the right of that cluster with some browning?

The bronzy/reddish leaves in the center of the photo are new growth of a perfectly normal color. They will green up as they grow. The brownish leaves look like they were damaged at some point rather than sunburnt.

Sunburnt leaves look bleached out, yellowed in the center that gradually browns if the sunburnt tissue dies completely.

Or I'm missing something--new glasses--do I need to take them back to the optometrist?

I don't think those leaves to the left of the new growth look sunburned. There's only one leaf there that looks crinkled and that doesn't look like burn to me. Looks more like some kind of damage. The others around it all look pretty green and healthy too. I know I don't get your kind of heat but when my leaves fry (and they do here to sometimes) the the whole leaf turns brown and crunchy not just a spot or two. To me that looks like a pretty darn healthy rose!

Maybe the leaves were damaged when I moved the rose to its new spot? I am pretty much a completely clumsy person ..
