I do not grow this rose but it looks beautiful.

I have grown High Society for around 5 years. It is a vigorous climber for me and is trained agains a fence. The longest canes are around 10-12 feet long and the flowers are around 4-5 inches across. It has a nice fragrance that is of medium intensity. The first spring flush is magnificent, followed by sporadic blooms throughout the summer. The flower size is larger in the sping and fall. I like it better than the other 3 climbers that I got from J&P, Scent from Above, Stairway to Heaven and Dreamweaver. It would undoubtedly bloom more if I had the canes trained more horizontally.

Thanks for your comment - I will be planting it on a long fence, and will train the canes laterally. Love the color......I have 2 Cherryades from Vintage Gardens that are this color that I love, so looking forward to this one.

I hesitated to comment since I am not in your area, but the neighbors have a several year old one on an arch that blooms a ton in spring but less later on. But it is stunning.

The Huntington has one on a big arch. The color is rich and pictures never can show the beauty or intensity of it. I get drawn to it every time I see it. It's a beautiful rose and I have not seen anything like it in bush form. Big thick tall canes.
