2014 Crop Failure for Dee Lish?

I didn't order this by mail, to save on shipping because 3 local nurseries were getting it in from Weeks. All 3 have said they didn't get any and won't have it after all. Did anyone here try to get one shipped and did it arrive or was your order refunded?

That is a really pretty rose - I wonder what happened? Is it really possible that only one company is producing it?

It was one rose on my Edmund's order & they emailed back that I wouldn't be getting due to a crop failure.

Thanks wirosarian. Some of them must have made it. I wonder where they go or if they just stay in the field and grow on.

Roses Unlimited has Dee Lish listed as a new rose this spring. Their roses are one gallon size own root roses.

Hmmm...a friend gave me Dee-lish last fall along with a couple others he'd gotten (he knows people and gets early releases he shares sometimes). At the time I wasn't all that thrilled with it but it was free so I accepted it (I'm known for taking in strays, lol). Now I think I might be glad I did (could become rare)...or maybe not depending on why it failed, lol?
