I'm looking for a groundcover rose that will be drought friendly in San Antonio. Knock Out and antique roses work well here, but I'm looking for something much shorter. Anyone know if Drift roses would be drought friendly once they are established? Thanks

What do you mean by "drought friendly"? What kind of performance do you expect? For example, if they survive, mostly leafless and flowerless, is that okay? Or do you expect them to look nice and bloom?

If we're in water restrictions we can water once a week - I wouldn't expect flowers, just looking for them to survive.
