I got one shipment on Thursday & the 2nd came today. The 5 in the first box were smaller then expected & was really worried about the 2nd box having small cuttings. I was pleased to find larger rose, its more what I expected. I was so excited I forgot to take a pic till I was over 1/2 done unpacking. Audrey Wilcox

Funny thing both packages were mailed & left Oregon at the same exact time, one package came straight to me & the 2nd went to San Francisco first. I dont know how the usps is elsewhere but in N cal it is consistently bad

wow! It's really interesting to see how bands arrive to those in the warm climates. They're so young!! I, of course, won't be getting mine till late May -because of my cold zone-- so they will have a lot more greenhouse aided growth on them by then. (Yours will have the same growth too, just in your yard.) ....when I get mine, they will look like rose plants with leaves and even flowers.... and not sticks in dirt like these. I'm sure it'll all be the same by June- but this is an eye opener. Edited: I was just reading a discussion on the Antique forum about propagating with dormant wood. I wonder if the fact I buy my roses from a much more northern rose propagator meant they started their propagating sooner anyway -because here the first frost comes early.? So, the bands might really slightly be older? .....just wondering......

Brass band has been on my list for a long time. After seeing & drooling over hoovs pic on here it went right to the top of my list!

My RVR order will be shipped March 4 - cant wait! I have ordered from RVR for several years - their roses always grow well, never any problems with them. I dont expect mine to be all leafed out this time of year - but with spring seeming to be early this year....once I get them potted up, know they will spring into action and start growing. I have quite a few of what you ordered - excellent roses, you will enjoy them! I grew Brass Band several years ago - its one I have coming. I paired it with Singin In The Rain, which I have now. Have fun!
