I'm sure the administrators do try to keep out the spam but it isn't easy. These jokers are bent on getting in to as many sites as they can and they're good at it. It makes a dilemma for admins. Do you put so much security that it's tough for everyone to post or make it fun and easy for your posters and run the risk of spammers. When I see a spam post I usually just post one word, like "spam" so it will move quickly down and away.

Andrea, when I run across a spam post, I copy the name of the thread and which forum it's on, then I contact GW at the link at the bottom of the pages (Contact Us) and provide them the information. They can't see everything nor be everywhere, but WE can help them cover all bases. Most often, once I've emailed them the information, the thread disappears. Kim

Nearly every morning I notify the Contact Us link that there is another spam post about films on the Rose Forum. Usually the offending post disappears before the morning is over. Kate
