Zone 8 reds

| When I was at Raft Island yesterday I asked him what his favorite red rose was. He said Ingrid Bergman. I want a clear true red that does not purple when the blooms are done like Mr Lincoln. Any of you have any great reds in my zone? |

| Veteran's Honor and Olympiad should be good, clear reds in your area. I like Ingrid Bergman a lot, but it's a darker red here. |

| Veteran's Honor would be a better choice than Ingrid. I love my Ingrid Bergman but it is a dark red and is fairly short and doesn't have much of a scent. Veteran's Honor is a more medium red and has a lovely fruity scent. It gets bigger and blooms more than Ingrid for me, but the flowers don't last quite as long. |

| I live in zone 8 and I love my Alec's Red. I also have Kardinal and Showbiz and both do quite will. They can handle my triple digit temps in the summer. Lyn |
