| Okay..so I am going to plant 2 Pope Johns in the back of my garden. I thought it would be cool to plant a english type white rose between the 2 John Pauls. Since I really don't know anything about white some suggestions would be good, including any mail order sources. |

| Winchester Cathedral, Fair Bianca (Austins), Bolero (Romantica), Snowbird (older HT). Of these, Fair Bianca and Bolero are fairly short. You can look them up on HMF to find mail order sources. Masha |

I agree with Masha's suggestion of 'Snowbird.' It's a disease-free bloom-machine. Jeri |

I don't particularly care for white roses, but Snowbird is the most perfect white I can imagine. No weather spotting, the tiny buds open to beautiful many petalled blooms that are irresistible. Kathy |

| How tall will Pope John get? 5 feet? In that case Bolero or Snowbird would be good in front of the pope but would look strange between them because they are short roses. Winchester Cathedral was a terrible rose in my humid climate, luckily it perished before I was going to SP it. I could recommend: either Karen Blixen HT fragrant and beautiful (Pickering) or White Gold tall floribunda fragrant, Austin-like blooms but far better, truly disease resistant foliage; needs space (arching shrub) (Pickering) |

| I hope you will get just as a good plant as I got last year and will give you much pleasure. If not, blame me. |
