| Just bought a barerooted kordes perfecta that has several new shoots about a inch long. I want to plant this rose today.
Should i cover the shoots with shredded mulch for a week or so or can it survive the way it is? |
Follow-Up Postings:
|
| I cover the canes with mulch for up to a week, as the new shoots are especially vulnerable to heat, cold and wind. |
|
| I heard you should soak bare root roses in a 5 gal bucket or submerge it in water overnight before you plant it... |
