I haven't grown roses in ten years or so.
I am sure many new products have emerged.
What do you think are the best deer repellants and fugicides on the market today.
I used to use BannerMaxx and Deer-OFF

I've had good results with Bayer Advanced Disease control for black spot and Immunox for powdery mildew.

Someone said they had very good results keeping deer away from her roses by installing three automatic sprinklers in yard at the Yankee District Rose convention yesterday.

Liquid Fence has terrible smell, but works really well. It will allso repell your own kids, friends, trespassers and whoever alive is around :)Really terrible, but effective.

Ditto to what Olga said.

(I live in the woods -- the Deer consider me their invader)

In the spring, Liquid Fence seems to work quite well. In the summer, I have less success; perhaps, the scent is more pungent in the fresh spring air.

I have reliable results with Bobbex, and it only is detectable to my own nose for a few hours the day it is applied. I should mention though that our deer damage is light to moderate - without snow cover and with plenty of natural feed, deer are more curious and opportunistic browsers here. They aren't starving as they make the rounds through the gardens, more like normal hungry and looking for their favorites, like roses.
