Has anyone been able to find this rose for sale? It is either a Parkland or an Explorer. I've searched every source I can think of. It was recommended on Dave's garden newsletter but none of the sources recommended have it.

There are 3 different roses with that name listed at HMF. As far as I could see none of them are Parkland or Explorer roses. Which one are you looking for?

It is a Parkland but I guess it's only available in Canada. I found it at Heirloom roses (Canada) but they no longer ship to the U.S.

If the listing nurseries have kept their inventories up to date on Help Me Find, there are nearly ten American sources listed for Hope for Humanity. The multiple listed one is Habitat for Humanity. J&P released a different rose under the same name for at least three years. One good way to use up the "also ran" roses from the Test Panels. Kim

I have 2 of them---got them by mailorder from Pickering (Canada). Nice red rose, sets floribunda like sprays, VERY columnar & grows 7-8' tall for me, winter hardy with no protection in my z4 area.

My Hope for Humanity has mostly single blooms on a nicely shaped bush.

I can start a cutting for you this summer.

That would be so nice of you. I would really appreciate it. I will email you with details.

I would love to find the Yellow Habitat for Humanity again. But, after looking at Karl's picture I could be persuaded to try Hope for Humanity.
