Going through chemicals in garage...use or chuck?

Well, I want to move to a kinder, gentler, organic garden, but I was out in the garage looking at the sprays and whatnot sitting on the shelves that I've bought in my blundering ignorance. I'd like to use what is usable rather than waste and put in landfill or wherever chemicals go to die. I've got three for blackspot -

Espona 3in1 Earthtone made of .2% Sulfer and .01% Pyrethrins

Bayer Advanced NATRIA for Organic Gardening made of a strain of Bacillus subtilis

Fung-onil made of Chlorothalonil

Should I go ahead and use any of these? Any I should just get rid of? Any that, if I do use, I need to be more careful with?

The first two are closer to your goal. Chlorothalonil, while not "organic" or considered "earth friendly", isn't terribly toxic (at least by what's known NOW) and is pretty much all around us. If you find you really need the fungicidal effects, you could elect to use what you've already paid for, presuming it's still fresh enough to be of benefit. Or, not, your choice. At least you're not considering using the left over Cygon or Orthenex. Those are definitely not "earth" or human "friendly"! Kim

Here is a link that might be useful: Chlorothanolonil
