You know I love this rose, and I have had three of them for at least seven years. I think the problem is finding a seller--I'm not sure who sells it anymore. I got my plants from Hortico, but it's not on their list now. This is a small compact rose, with lovely yellow blooms about the size of those of Julia Child. It doesn't bloom as much as Julia (my JC's are continuous bloomers), but the repeat is very good. My first photo shows some blooms from fall when they are brightest. Diane

I think I'll show how well B-R coordinates with Julia nearby in the next photo. Two B-Rs are down the slope a little bit from the larger JCs. Diane

Diane, I love that photo! And yes, they coordinate exceptionally well. I've found two nurseries that sell B-R; Heirloom and a European one, Fil Roses. Unfortunately, neither ship to Canada. :(

I LOVE Bernstein Rose! The color is fantastic, a much warmer, golden-yellow than Julia. And the form is very attractive. Definitely worth growing! I got mine from Heirloom, I believe.

Beautiful! I know I saw it available somewhere this past season, but can't remember where. Maybe it was Heirloom. I doubt if they have any available now tho!
