| I just found this Floribunda on Rogue Valley's free list. I'm intrigued by the color and allegedly strong scent, as well the apparently old-fashioned looking flowers- but I've never seen it or heard about it before now. Any info about growth, disease, hardiness, size, floriferousness, etc. is welcome. Don't fuss about your zone or climate being different from mine- I enjoy reading the information one way or another. | I had grown this beautiful rose in a container, the full old fashioned blooms have an excellent delicious fragrance and produced in good frequency upon a sturdy compact plant with attractive shiny disease resistant foliage. I somehow ended up killing the thing and although the new plant had the same blooms, the plant was very gangly and sprawling with poor foliage, very strange!. I had enjoyed my original plant so much that I'll just have to try again! Terrance |

Wow- I'm surprised that you were able to grow it in Zone 3! It sounds like it was a winner for you. Thanks! Zachary

Zachary, the container grown plant had been wintered in my attached unheated garage. Hybrid teas and floribundas are otherwise usually not all that difficult to grow in zone 3 if planted deeply and hilled up, they are especially easy if grown near the foundation of one's home. T

I ordered a band of this from Rogue Valley- love at first sight! The scent is incredible, and the both of the two bands appear to be very healthy and vigorous. I'm excited!

Yes, Zachary, isn't the scent amazing! This is a rose that should be much more widely grown and enjoyed by others. Please keep us updated as to how the plant develops for you. T
