Fish emulsion as foliar

I'm thinking of trying fish emulsion as a foliar spray; however, I have no idea what ratio to use for the mix. The bottle says 1 Tbsp per gallon of water, but this is for general ground/water application. Should I use the same ratio if I plan on spraying this on the plants' leaves?

Any advice?

The fish emulsions I've used all say something like this on the label: Apply using pail, watering can, garden sprayer or hose-end sprayer. The hose-end sprayer mention surely amounts to an okay for foliar fertilization. I've always applied fish fertilizer with a watering can sprinkled over the entire plant and I've never seen any harmful effects.

The fish emulsion I use is a foliar spray too. Doesn't the package give you the amount to use? What brand is it? Maybe you can go to their web site to get more info.
