has anyone planted two roses (hybrid teas) different colors in the same hole side by side

I'm thinking of doing this yellow hybrid tea and a red hybrid tea climber

I just started doing this with the same rose (if is on Dr Huey root stock). It makes a LARGE, bushy display with a ton of blooms. I also do this with own root bushs. I haven't done this with two different varieties. I like the idea. I think I'll do a little research and see what I can come up with for next spring. I'll probably do 3 in a tight V shape.

I think it sounds cool! I don't know how the roses would do but I think it's worth a try.

I've started to root cuttings on a lot of my smaller roses now with the thought of planting them in with the mother plant to make them bigger and bushier. I have no idea how well this is going to work out but I like to experiment.

I just saw a plant sort of like this yesterday- A lovely white ht in full bloom of pom-pom type flowers with one or two Dr. Huey's down around the "skirt" of the lowest flowers. I know they need to not let the good doctor get a leg up, but it looked so pretty!
