My apologies. I meant to post this in the Rose Gallery. I guess my mistake gives me an excuse to invite you over to the Rose Gallery where I will be posting a couple more times. Lots of "first" roses still opening up in this early spring! Love it. Kate

So pretty, Kate!

Wow, very nice. I have it but it's never bloomed for me in the 3-4yrs I've had it. The bed it's in doesn't get a ton of sun and I need to mulch and feed it better. I sure hope it blooms this yr!! Thanks for sharing yours!

Thanks for posting these gorgeous pics. I'm getting excited for mine to bloom. I moved both of mine this year so they would get more sun, and one is sulking and not wanting to come out of dormancy yet. So...I'm hoping I will get blooms. 'Well Being' is definitely one of my favorites. I planted 'Twilight Zone' in a triangle with these two to bring out that violet/maroon pop of color.

Kate --that is a beauty---I love the touches of pink--- I will go check the Gallery-- Florence

Thanks for your comments. Another bud just opened into full bloom--it gets more sun (the other one was a bit shaded hanging down on the north side of the plant) and has fuller golden tones. If the wind ever dies down (this is the windy time of the year), I'll add a picture of the more golden fully opened bloom also. I suspect she is a sun-lover. Although I've moved her several times, she has always been in strong sunlight--and has always bloomed, so that might be the answer, beth. Hope you get yours blooming. And yours also, terry. With Twilight Zone--that ought to be striking! Florence, like you, I love the touches of pink along the edges. Kate

Those are beautiful! I have a plant of it in a dry spot in part shade and it repeats well. It deserves a prime spot or large pot. It doesn't seem to be a large grower, at least not in my poor location, and yet it is a fine short plant. I love the fragrance, and the edges sometimes are more rust colored than pink..either way they're beautiful. I'm getting some very rounded blooms right now. BS resistance seems better than average.

Erasmaus--good to hear about your experience with Well Being. I've moved mine several times--finally found the perfect spot that it loves and that allows me to really contemplate it. And I've fallen in love with it. It is so beautiful and variable in appearance. Here is a slightly different look to it. (Can't stop myself from taking more pictures!) Yes, so far, it seems pretty good on disease-resistance. Once it really settles into its new home, I'll let you know how tall it wants to get. Kate
