Has anyone had success growing Bella'roma hybrid tea rose? I planted one this spring and so far no buds. I have heard that it is not a big bloomer. I am disappointed and wondering if I should switch it out or give it time? I live in the southeast. Has anyone else in this area had success with this rose?

I don't grow it and I'm not in your area but if you just planted it this spring I do think it's way too soon to make any judgments about it.

I'm sure you are correct, Seil. I am new at growing roses, other than Knockouts, and I am sure I am being impatient. The bush seems healthy. I will give it more time.

I have found this rose to be vigorous and it put out a lot of flowers for me--the scent is fabulous. Everything was great until, that is, my supposedly OWN ROOT rose converted to Dr. Huey this year! I'm really mad, but it's a Jackson Perkins problem.

All I can add is that in zone 5 it was stingy but gorgeous! I hope it grows for you. Give it some time and post some pics.
