| I just planted a Climbing Peace in early April, and I've got fingerlings from the main stems. I have clay gumbo soil in west Houston, so I added sand to the hole when I planted, to assist drainage. How long does a climber take before reaching upwards? Is she just working on growing deep roots right now, and will I at least have something to climb up a trellis soon? I assume that we won't see a bloom the first year. |

| I've never seen a Cl. Peace before. It's really impressive and beautiful. Candyland is very pretty. |
