I am in South Carolina and am off to Roses Unlimited!!! I have ordered many roses from them but have never been there. I have a list of roses I want but who knows...I am an impulsive gardener!! I`ll be posting my "buys" when I get back. Can only fit 4 in my car, so it will be a difficult task. Any suggestions? One white, one pink, and two smaller roses are my needs. I am so excited!! Gee, won't the two smaller roses fit in your trunk? That means there will be room for another larger sized "passenger" in the front of the car. : )

Look over Mystic Beauty--she truly is. Prolific, beautiful blooms and disease-resistant polyantha. Love her!

Have a ball. Make sure Mystic Beauty jumps into the car somewhere. I'll be making the same trip later in the spring.

You might check out Morning Has Broken--lovely yellow, supposed to be quite disease-resistant. I think they are the only place (besides its creator's place) that sells it.

Another one I love--Braveheart shrub--I think they are also the only place to carry it (other than its creator's place. However, I don't know how it would do disease-wise in your area. Its not bad on disease-resistance, but it could be a bit better--still above average in that department. Gorgeous dark red blooms.

They should be able to help you pick out a couple large old roses. I hear they are very friendly and helpful.

Have a wonderful trip! You can make a list but I'll bet once you get there you'll find some you just have to have, l0l!

i love ru :)

Oh! Definitely try to grab 'Morey's Pink' while you are there if you need a workhorse of a gorgeous, low pink rose. So pretty and so many blooms all of the time :)

I don't do much white or red, lol. Actually, Coquettes des Blanches is an awesome bourbon that reblooms so very well. She starts out the palest pink, but she quickly turns white.

Purezza is amazing if you need a repeat-blooming prettier white banksia (very tall, lol). The leaves are wonderful, too. I love that rose! Check hardiness, because I'm warmer than you.

If their Rose Edouard is the same as Ashdown had, it's a very lovely rose-red rose, with an AMAZING scent. All of those are completely carefree.

There are so many there to choose from!
