humidity-safe climber

I live in a humid area (7b) and am looking for a tolerant climber that is also a repeat bloomer. I love the look of a rose like the Collette. I'm pretty open when it comes to colors because my focus is really finding something that will fit the bill, and I love most colors already. Here is the plan for the space

The rose will grow on an arbor like this...

Over our very large center window...I think it's around ten feet? I'm thinking of growing it upward from the nook between the porch and the window wall, in order to mask the lack of shutter space.

If the space is just too big, I could always put it over the smaller window on the right instead.

Has anyone had luck with climbers in a hot/humid area? I grow a lot, but I haven't had many roses. My neighbor across the street (pre-war home) has all sorts of very old roses, but he doesn't know what they are.
