Belated thanks for your help to a Newbie

About 6 years ago, I had decided to grow roses...maybe a climbing rose.

You were so generous with information, and, admittedly did warn me that New Dawn would be too much for a beginner.
But I loved the rose, so bought a band from Heirloom, grew it in a gallon pot for the summer then planted it.

Here she is in her "glory" mode: And I still love her even though she is indeed an encroching, thorn ridden thug rose. Couldn't do without her.

Thanks again,
kay

Beautiful!
A very romantic scene.
I'm glad she makes you so happy.

I just started getting more into roses in the last couple years, and I agree this forum is full of great information.

I'd love to have a climber like that someday!

Jeri ...

You are growing some fantastic roses that do well for you in your climate that would be dawgs up here.

Kay ... Your rose is simply beautiful. I've stayed away from climbers because I have to disbud the first flush, so I probably won't try New Dawn, but thank you for sharing your photo.

Smiles,
Lyn
