Home Depot, of all places, had Julio Inglesias tree roses. I tried to resist, but to no avail. :) It's my first tree rose - anything special I should know about care?

This is a fabulous rose! The fragrance is very strong and sweet. It gets lots of blooms. Looks very pretty even from far away. I don't know anything about tree roses, though. You did pick a good rose! Here is a picture.

I also know nothing about tree roses, but loved Julio Iglesias and agree that the fragrance is wonderful. It was great the first year and after that steadily declined. My hot and dry climate may not have been his cup of tea, but I still miss that rose. Ingrid

Beautiful rose. In your zone u might get him to live thru next winter. Just be prepared because that high graft in vulnerable. Other than that, treat him like any other rose.. I am addicted to standards. In zone 5 I have the best luck in pots and dragging them in for winter.

Thanks! So far he's doing quite well, and I am in love with the fragrance. Susan, I'll take that advice - I appreciate it.

Oh, it's beautiful! I wish my HD got stuff like that. We were there yesterday and the only tree roses they had were KNOCK OUTS! Yuck!
