I use it on my roses all the time. When I fertilize I do the whole garden and the roses are mixed in with the other annuals, perennials and vegetables. So they all get the same thing. The roses do great with it!

I use miracle grow super bloom on my roses and my other plants and the roses do great. I switched one year to something different and none of my flowers bloomed so I switched back to miracle grow.

I use the MG lawn food every once in a while on certain roses--just the ones that look like they are extra hungry for N. (Here the soil has plenty of everything except N.) Works great. Not something I do regularly.

I am of the opinion that Miracle Grow has so much nitrogen and one gets alot of growth but then the roses fall over. I think it really forces them when they are not ready. I prefer organics..good soil..BUT..if I get impatient I have used it to give my roses a boost..since I am in the PNW I get tired of waiting for blooms..but it comes at a price. The guy at the nursery said it is "Crack for roses". Lots of energy..but a crash at the end. If I was having a big party or something in my backyard and wanted to have lots of blooms I would give it a Miracle Grow bath...
