| Today was the most perfect day ! 82 degrees and just pretty clouds in the sky. After church I drove an hour to White House tn to visit S and W greenhouse. I was not expecting to see everything in bloom already !! It was heavenly. There was a sea of roses and annuals and hanging baskets just everywhere. Here are some shots of the greenhouses .
This was the greenhouse filled with roses already sold to suppliers. The lovely lady working today ( the owners mom ) said 300 of them were reserved for the Kentucky derby !
Here are a row of tree roses they had ! I wish they had been my taste , all great floribundas but I prefer a weepy look . They were a steal at 34$ a piece.
I made friends with this lovely hen ! :)
Here's my cart all loaded up. It was hard to restrain myself !! I picked up 2 climbing Colette's , a pearly gate , James Galway , princess Alexandra of something slipping my mind and the last boscobel they had !! What a find ! I don't know if I want it because it's hard to find but I snatched it right up! :)
I was sad they were out of teasing Georgia , one I had loved before but I'm sure it'll pop up somewhere. I did buy 2 Clem's too . One called andromeda and classic jackmanii.
Here they are on my porch . I will pot them up later today .
Here is the obligatory dog photo ! Henry is 4 months old cavalier King Charles spaniel . And diesel is a 5 year old english bulldog . :)
Thanks for your help choosing my climbers earlier this week ! And 10 stars to S and W !! Great great nursery . Loved my visit ! :)

| Ok first of all your dogs are ADORABLE! I have been yearning for a cavie for years, he's precious. And congrats on all your great finds! It's always fun to come home with new plants. | Wonderful pictures, lilyfinch! I spent part of yesterday at the Antique Rose emporium in Brenham, TX. It was a glorious day, and many of the roses beginning to bloom. Came home with 3: Rosette Delizy, La Reine, a Chrystler Imperial my DH picked out. ( Honestly! I could have bought CI from Walmart!:) |

| Thank you !! Any chance to share my dogs I'll take ! Boncrow , cavies are just wonderful and if my husband would let me I'd get a female ! Henry is seriously the most affectionate thing ever. I worried he'd get that separation anxiety you read about , but he's fine. He just loves to love on everyone! Diesel is great but indifferent.. Lol prefers my husband . Kristy , I would love to visit ARE!! How wonderful. Funny how if my dh says he likes something , I want to buy it just to get him interested. It really was a fun visit and I may have to go back for more Clem's and a couple roses that I wasn't sure of . Totally worth the drive!! |

| What a beautiful place!!! I don't think I could have restrained myself at all and would have gotten into some serious financial trouble in a place like that, lol. Your puppy kidz are both cuties too! |

| I love the idea that all over the country people are getting out to these fantastic nurseries. Tennessee is so beautiful, especially at this time of year. Your dogs are adorable! sylvia |

| Looks like you had a good day at the nursery. Love Henry too. My friends male cav was named Henry too. He passed a couple of years a go but was a trip as well. He had a lots of ribbons from Crufts too |

| I have heard cavies are affectionate and have the nickname of love bugs. I will also buy a rose or plant that my hubbie picks out lol, if he shows a interest I'll get it. He loves to deadhead my roses too, he keeps a pairs of pruning scissors on the patio table so he can snip of a dead bloom at any given moment. If you go back let us know what you come home with! I can't wait to hear how your boscobel does for you. |

| As soon as boscobel opens I'll be sure to post pics !! I am glad my dh dosnt like to touch the roses , I love to do that myself . One time he wacked down a row of limelight hydrangeas about 7 years ago and that was the last thing I asked him to do ! Lol he humors me and looks at blooms and smells them . And dosnt care if I spend a small fortune on my garden stuff. We can live off hot dogs and Mac n. Cheese ! :) I'd rather have plants . Seil , you would have loved it there! I know you grow lots of floribundas and they had a ton ! I fell in love with a few , one called jump for joy , white licorice was gorgeous and this one called Anna's promise . I don't even like oranges but maybe my heart is changing ! Lol
