I am beginning to think my Rachel Bowes Lyon did not survive the winter, but I can't seem to find a vendor except for Vintage Gardens which has it as custom root. Does anyone know where this rose is available by mail order?

I believe that Burlington Roses carries that one.

I know she used to. Unfortunately, I gave mine away last summer. I've become unable to fit twenty-five pounds of potatoes in five pound bags anymore! Kim

I almost bought that one last year so had seen it on her list. I guess you're saying Rachel is a big girl, Kim?

She can be if you let her have her head and she is GORGEOUS! Harkenss created some splendid shrubs in the eighties for my area, Cardinal Hume, Rochester Cathedral and Rachel being three which I've grown and loved. There is just too little level space, too little water holding capabilities of this soil, too many squirrels, gophers, rabbits and moles and I have far too little energy and other resources to change the state of the universe to accommodate any more roses! Know what I mean? Kim

Email Burling. I understand from someone who has her latest list, it's on it! Kim
