Has anybody grown the climber Nahema?

I am looking for a brighter fragrant climber and was wondering if anybody has tried this one?

Also, has anybody tried the climbing versions of Blue Girl or Tiffany?

Nahema should be able to survive well in zone 5 without any particular protection, though as always you should bury the graft if grafted and mulch the roots in the growing season for moisture and soil conditioning. I winter protect all my roses in zone 5 Nebraska, but Nahema survives reliably above the protection. I have rarely seen a rose, let alone a climber, take off so quickly and bloom so well in its first year, and it has already stretched both ways on a 6' fence. I love it, and with the intricately double blooms, terrific foliage, and good scent - what's not to love?

Nahema is an excellent climber in zone 5. I got mine own root from Roses Unlimited.

smashing rose - not a huge fan of high centred HT types, but Nahema is both healthy and prolific, while behaving itself in a limited space. Very evocative scent.

Predfern- do you winter protect yours? I saw this rose on HMF and it says it is hardy to zone 6b. I assumed it wouldn't do well in zone 5.

I do not winter protect and Nahema survives with a significant amount of cane. The growth is upright. Blooms are fragrant and beautiful. It is over 7 feet tall now on a fence.

It is quite beautiful. I have two Eden climbing roses on order through Roses Unlimited. I'm thinking I may want to change one to Nahema, just in case one does better than the other. Do you recommend grafted or own root for Nahema in zone 5?

Does anyone know if Nahema climbing rose will thrive on Vancouver Island? How about Eden climber?

As this summer was so hot, I'm wondering if the roses have papery petals, or heavier petals that won't fry.

Any other recommendations for very fragrant, disease-resistant and attractive roses would be much appreciated.
