The original Edmunds was bought out by Jung's seeds a few years ago. They had excellent roses and Jung's seems to be carrying on with similar quality. Those I've purchased from them since the change over have been suberb specimens.

Thanks, guys! I got my Edmund's roses last week on Thursday and potted them right away. The Raspberry Cream Twirl is amazing and growing so fast Here is a picture from today after being potted at my house for 1 week! Doesn't it look great? No growth on the Rainbow's End miniature yet, but I'm hopeful. The canes are still nice and green and it's gotten the same careful treatment as the Raspberry Cream Twirl so it sound be okay, just not as eager to grow... Can't wait until I can see some pretty striped roses (which I'm guessing probably won't be until next season, right?)

I bought raspberry twirl and rainbow's end bare root fom Edmund's this year. (among an order of about 10 roses). Raspberry twirl grew and is now healthy. It made 1 flower but squirrels ate it as a bud and I never saw it open. The squirrels have since pruned it again. It's potted, I'm trying to figure out a place for it to climb. Need to plant in the ground soon before winter. The plant is healthy but haven't seen a flower since. Incidentally, Rainbow's end failed to grow. I reported it and got $10 store credit. I bought it on clearance. I already have 2 Rainbow's End roses from last year bought for $3.99 each at Menards. Both are prolific at flowering and survived the winter (1 indoors, one outside without protection.)

A couple of years ago I received 2 roses from them that were not up to par. One never broke dormancy, one was (literally)a one root wonder. I've always had perfect roses from them before so was wondering, since the changeover to Jungs, how they would respond to the problem. They did just fine. Gave me a credit for the dead rose since they were sold out and shipped me another rose to replace my one root wonder (which is doing fine now). The one rooter btw was also a mini (Be My Baby). If Rainbow's End continues to just sit there you may want to notify them that you are having a problem and that you may need a replacement/credit in a few weeks......Maryl One root wonder:

Thanks guys, I did end up calling about the Rainbow's End that never grew and got a merchandise credit in the mail for next season. The Raspberry Cream Twirl grew to be almost six feet tall and is huge. I've gotten two clusters of 3/4 blossoms since planted, not much, but enough to know I do like the color :) Looking forward to many blooms next year.
