Can you help ID this?

What is this..
Its thornless, bloom is a few inches across, to my nose very little fragrance and smells like the roses at florist stores and its early morning with dew still on it (my allergies are bad yesterday and today... ugh)

I'm thinkin' that it could be that oldie but goodie, La Marne. The photo on HMF doesn't look a lot like the rose in your pictures, but there are plenty of photos where the resemblance is more compelling. Check out the blogger below.

I don't think that is La Marne. La Marne tends to be white near the center, darker toward the outer edges of the petals.

La Marne's buds are rounder -- fatter, with rather plain sepals -- maybe with glandular structures. These are just SLIGHTLY decorative.

La Marne's leaves have a similar texture, but these are rounder that La Marne's.

I don't know what it is, but it looks sorta familiar. Where did you come across it? Do you know the history of the location?

The foliage resembles La Marne out back right now, but the rest of it is wrong. Other than the hard, glossy, Wichurana-type foliage appearance I see, it reminds me of Cl Pinkie. How old is the plant? How long have you grown it? Any idea where it came from? Was it inherited with the house or purchased more recently, or? Age and possible origin may help identify it. Other than being totally thornless, it could even be Bonica. Kim

On some pictures you can see thorns, so it is not comletely thornless. Bonica is a good guess in my opinion.

It's looking more and more like Bonica to me. This is what La Marne looks like here right now. Kim

In these parts, it's an excellent landscape rose. VERY healthy and productive. Kim
