Congratulations to Robert Rippetoe

The 2nd Annual Biltmore International Rose International Judging & Trials Awards Day was held yesterday and Robert Rippetoe was the big winner.

Robert's wonderful rose Miracle On The Hudson won a total of four awards!

Chauncey Beadle Award for Best Shrub

Lord Burleigh Award for Most Disease Resistant

William Cecil Award for Best Growth Habit

George and Edith Vanderbilt Award for the Most Outstanding Rose of The Trials.

Paul, do you know when these roses might be available commercially? Or do I have to sneak up to Biltmore and take a cutting....(just kidding)

At the moment Roses Unlimited carries it. I suspect you will see wider release after this.

As of Friday Roses Unlimited still had plants (and the saturation of the color on the petals is extraordinary.)

Athyfalaa is being tested by a few major rose companies. Fingers crossed it gets released soon!
