 o
Spring Hill order

just arrived.

I ordered; 1 'Green Ice' and 1 'Marje Hammerburg'

and that is what was printed on the invoice.

Inside the box was: 1 'Linda Campbell'.

I called the customer service #. Spoke to a very nice young man. He can send out the MH this week, before triple digit temps arrive, I hope, and the GI in Sept. He was very polite and helpful. I appreciate that he did not make a point of "checking to see if you really did order what you say you did", as happened to me with a certain well known speciality rose nursery.

As it happens, I do have a spot for Linda, next to Cinnabar and Julischka, both of whom made it through the winter (temps down to -5F, and lots of freezing and thawing of the ground) just fine, BTW. That will make a grouping of three freely blooming reds.

I have one question: do the corporate owners of SH think it is cheaper to hire workers who can't read English for their packing, and then later on use English language speakers to correct the inevitable mishaps?

Perhaps the worker was working two different boxes at the same time and just labeled yours wrong. Spring Hill has always given me terrific customer service. I once ordered a rose for my mother in law and they sent the wrong rose. I called them, and was told they were out of stock of my requested order and just gave me a refund and let my Mother in law keep the incorrect rose! They will always be a company I support.

Thank you. I do hope this was a one time mishap.

I've just ordered once from Spring Hill - 2 bareroots this season. I am delighted with both, they arrived exactly when they said they would, and they were correct per my order.
