For me, that would have to be "William Baffin". What's yours?

The micro-mini Cinderella gave me my first bloom this year. But Double Delight was hard on it's heels with a gorgeous bloom that opened the next day.

The first rose was Blessed Child. It was a lovely large flush of blooms, too. I was so enthused I made an entry about it over at HMF. However, it is taking its time about getting to its second flush, only now starting to form buds again. Perle d'Or, on the other hand, was the second rose to bloom and _hasn't stopped since_.

It does have to do with being in a full sun location partially. It is always Angel Face and Joseph's Coat about the same time.

Aside from the Knockouts - Ebb Tide just came up this week. My garden is new; new house, just planted bare roots this spring.

It was Excellenz von Schubert, with a runty little bloom, followed closely by Blushing Knock Out and Conundrum. Just about everything is in full flush now (two weeks before our rose shows start), except for Rosenstadt Freising (surprisingly slow, but full of buds and starting to open) and Baby Fauraux (ditto).

Home Run was first, with Austin's Mayflower right on its heels. That was about 2 months ago.

Ebb Tide was first to bloom, very closely followed by Tamora and Eglantyne (tie), with Bro Cadfael coming up fast. Diane

'The Imposter' burst into bloom in April, way ahead of everyone else. Normally I don't have blooms until May.

Midnight Blue followed closely by Joseph's Coat

Denver's Dream bloomed at least 2 weeks before everyone else even woke up.

Then all of a sudden, there was a gorgeous bloom of Lillian Austin and before I knew it 20 roses had started to bloom.

My favorite time of the year. Going out each evening to see who has bloomed that day.

Mme de Sancy de Parabere was in a race with my SDLM and edged out Souvenir de la Maison by a day.

Duchesse de Brabant. It starts blooming late Winter, early Spring. The main blooming season is now but I always have a bloom or two on it through out the season.
