Geranium 'Rozanne'

I apologize for touting this plant so much and so often, but it is simply so terrific, I just can't help it!

I have to look for Hoovbs Geranium, I think I need one.

But my favorites right now are Lavenders (I planted Hidcote Munstead Grosso and Goodwin gray to see the varieties and what I like best)

The bees LOVE them, the garden was buzzing yesterday.

A couple clumps of variegated Iris and 3 clumps of a salvia or Veronica in your favorite blue or another nice purply blue would be Sea Lavender (limonium).

Actually- lavender alone (3 or 4) would look really nice.
I have several kinds of Intermedia and Angustifolia and frankly good old Hidcote is my favorite and most reliable. It's far easier to prune and even renovate and keep in a nice shape. The intermedias I have raised get big and eventually turn into ugly donuts and it is impossible to prune them enough to prevent it.

Edit- Oh, I see after posting someone else (above) is a fan of Hidcote too!

canna lilies... Mary Finley or Pirncess .... for pink offsets... there is one called tropical sunrise that i have that might match the flowers some...tropical sunrise blooms almost all the time

Thank you everyone for all your wonderful ideas. l love the lavendar (hidcote) with them. That is exactly what I planted with them last year. My only problem was being able to get in there to look after the roses with all the bees buzzing around me. I love your geranium hoovb - Do you know if it can be purchased in a nursery or would I have to order it?

I love all your ideas and now have a good variety to choose from. I'm going to have to google some of these to see what they all look like. The purple/blues sound awesome. Thanks soooo much!

And also consider adding a climbing partner. If you're doing blue/purple at the base, consider the dark velvety red flowers of Clematis 'Niobe' to intermingle with the peach colored flowers of your rose.
