| I missed April so will start May. Still a handful of bareroots not blooming yet, but of my newbies for this year:
Most Beautiful: Gemini
Then, most improved from last year: Medallion (amazing what fertilizer can do). April in N. Ca was EXPLOSIVE, and explosion still going on. Boy I love this state for roses. But bummed with first rust year, trying to live it out and see what happens, and not spraying yet. First bearded irises blooming - OMG they are a must have in the garden. I'm in love. Looking forward to my first daylilies blooming. Dahlias are poking through the ground, new little purple lilac tree bloomed and is done (sigh...), one my new camellia's - Tom Knudsen, continues to bloom past his stated time, and loving this weather. Warm weather wishes to all. |

| Seil - unfortunately it's reported to only be viable in a Zone 9ish climate (I don't know why). |
