Lotsa baby bugs everywhere

Yesterday I noted multiple chomped on leaves on my rose bushes. Plus there were small populations of aphids and numerous katydids. They made the mistake of chowing down on Polareis. Unfortunately for them that rose had a praying mantid egg case attached and this morning Polareis became home to many baby mantids. No katydids.

Here's Polareis this afternoon.

ditto - That is my most favorite of all of the "bug" pictures I have seen on here - hope they spread out all over your garden!

Hey, that's cool. I've never seen a bunch of baby mantises before. They are cute, aren't they!
