I just bought a Double Knockout Rose today. Have been looking at them for the past couple years. The only ones I have seen are hot pink. Do they come in other colors?

I call "hot pink" a pink blended with yellow and "cool pink" a pink blended with blue. To me, Pink double Knockout is an attractive shade of cool pink. I don't know, maybe my eyes are defective and my color sense misguided, but it has made me very pleased with six roses that everyone else agrees are outstanding except for their color.

I just looked at the ID tag that came with the rose and it says the flowers are Cherry Red. Not that I'm against any shade of pink, but our siding is a cream color (or yellow). I wasn't sure how it would look against the siding. I planted it and it looks good to me. It's going to stay there anyway LOL.

Since you have already planted the rose, this won't help, but for future reference, yes, there is more than one color of Double Knock Out--either bright red or pink. Don't know what name the nurseries use for them, but either one should look good against your cream siding.

I think the "hot" in "hot pink" refers to its vibrancy rather than whether it is a warm or cool hue of pink.

Double Knock Out has the same "cherry red" to "hot pink" coloring as the original Knock Out. It can get hot pink in hot weather.

Pink Double Knock Out is a medium pink, same color as Pink Knock Out.

I think you probably do have the "red" one. The red on mine is a very hot pinky red too. The real "pink" Double Knockout is a much paler pink color.
