Sprayed Bayer advanced Disease Control. Know I am supposed to water first, but just skipped my brain. When can I water roses now. It is a lovely day her in hi 60's. Directions on label are long gone.

Don't wash them, but water them.

Thanks so much for quick response. I have watered around the roots of about a third of the roses; but guess the rest will have to hold till tomorrow. I have about a hundred ++ so being as I have been out there doing a lot of chores today...I am pretty tired!

Oh, I know that tired feeling very well right now, Charlene!

Just water them well tomorrow and they should be fine.

Charleney, if you've lost the label to your Bayer Advanced Disease Control, it's available on line - see link below. Notice that the label doesn't mention watering your plant before applying the spray. I think watering before spraying is a good general practice to prevent plant damage but the Bayer spray has never caused damage to my plants and I've never watered before application.

Here is a link that might be useful: Bayer Advanced Disease Control Label

I feel that watering before spraying is more critical during the HOT summer months, Daconil was a good example of a funicide that caused problems in hot weather. Now is cooler out so less potential for chemical burn but still a good general practice as Mike says.

Thanks Mike and all ..... I did find the label on the internet. Everything is working out well!
