There were two of the Eyeconics at the local nursery, they are interesting, but not sure they are my "thing" Might have to look at more of your photos.

It has 8 petals, Dave, so it is a single. The bloom is about 3 inches across. I've just read that the range of hulthemias goes all the way up to Siberia so I'm hopeful that it will be hardy.

The color is very interesting, complex and diverse. The inside of the petal is paler than the outside and there is some yellow in it. The blotch is a very saturated. The bloom does fade some with age to a paler color but the blotch actually deepens.

Very nice Seil! I planted both Eyeconic Lemonade and Eyecomin Pink Lemonade about a month ago when Edmunds had them on sale. No blooms yet, but lots of growth on both :)
